My tenure as Lead Designer for Team Drew on Brother vs. Brother, Season 6, has come to a close.

What an amazing experience that was!

And the lovely crew at HGTV: Drew Scott, of course, Series Director Jim MacPherson, Producer Mary Beth Anderson,Design Coordinator Aletha Marshall, makeup and hair artist extraordinaire, among her many talents, Annalee Belle (who is also the beloved girlfriend of eldest “Brother” JD Scott).

A special shout out to LMBI’s own Julia Cook, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring all of the details of this project together. She didn’t get the limelight, but she gets our love!

It’s true, Team Drew lost the competition, by a “nose” — a slightly higher profit on the sale (+$8000) to Team Jonathan. Still, Team Drew arguably retains bragging rights for the season, having bested the other Brother in four out of five design competitions. (Brother vs. Brother fans know that in six seasons, Team Jonathan has NEVER lost the kitchens challenge. Still, if you watch that episode, you may agree with us, that both designs were gorgeous, and the competition was a close one.)
