What Am I Grateful For…
There are many things to be thankful for…it would be a huge list. When I give myself some time to reflect on this there are two major areas. I am thankful for the wonderful community I am part of because the human experience is not complete without sharing our joy and anxieties with those surrounding us, business colleagues, associates, friends and families. There is so much I have learned from this formidable network of friends all through these tough and happy moments of our shared history. I am so happy to live and work in the East Bay and witness it’s beauty every day, from the Pacific Ocean to redwoods in the regional parks.
I am certainly grateful for the talent of Laura Martin Bovard, her honesty, quiet dignity and grace and her ability to help others transform their environments. When we live in a beautiful space it is inspiring to our souls!
Lastly, I am thankful for the opportunity my son has had to realize his dream, from Star Trek to Star Worlds to launching the next rover to Mars, “Curiosity.” Amazing that it launched over Thanksgiving weekend, successfully without a hitch. That gives me the feeling of awe and amazement and more curiosity about the world and whats beyond the edge of our planet. Now if it just lands successfullly….we will have to wait to August 5, 2012.
